Erin O’Neill’s personal civic goals include finding new prospects for artists to sell art. With experience as a curator, artist, registrar, and in art sales, Erin assists artists to catalyze best practices and their entrepreneurial focus. He also has a Master of Public Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts and Exhibition Management from University of North Texas’s College of Visual Art and Design. Innovation and entrepreneurship were his master’s degree focus.

With Art on Walls being a primary program area within the Arts Council, this workshop aims to provide efficient and effective information on how to present and hang your artwork. Erin will also incorporate a share-out of information about the Art on the Walls program so local artists are aware of the opportunity to promote and sell their work.

This one and a half-hour session is tailored to artists, specifically entry level artists with a desire for more awareness on how to present their artwork as “ready to hang” with galleries. The session will include information on what artists need to know about how their art will be hung on a wall, which does not need to be limited to just wire. This will also give artists more of a professional face, opening the door to more exhibit opportunities. Artists need to know their limitless possibilities when it comes to displaying and presenting their art, along with the potential Art on the Walls offers to many local artists and arts organizations.
