Oversees the organization's communications and marketing efforts, including amplifying the work of the Arts Council and the region's artistic community. Lisa specializes in editing, art direction, and media relations.

Bio

Lisa Cunningham joined the Arts Council in February 2023 after a long tenure at Pittsburgh City Paper, where she served as both Editor in Chief and Art Director. Across her career, she has focused on supporting artists, amplifying community voices, and creating accessible, engaging storytelling. Originally from Central Pennsylvania, Lisa earned her journalism and communications degree from Point Park University and now lives in the North Side where she enjoys writing, binging crime shows, taking photos of her cats, and drinking lots and lots of coffee.
