What happened to Arts Council memberships?

We know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from us about membership.

That’s because when the pandemic first shut down our region’s arts and cultural institutions, we knew the best way to support our members was by continuing to provide resources, funding, and advocacy, regardless of membership dues.

We made this choice to give our organizational members the time needed to work through all the unknowns posed by the pandemic. We didn’t want our membership dues to be another financial concern for your organization.

Since those early pandemic days, we’ve continued to see examples of our community collaborating and supporting each other like never before.

Whether you participated in the WolfBrown Audience Outlook Monitor research, attended our collaborative working group meetings, participated in Restart the Arts marketing, or received funding through our grant programs, our work during the pandemic has been some of our most meaningful.

We hope you found value in our work during these unprecedented years.

Your membership support will allow us to continue the work we started during the pandemic. We hope you’ll consider renewing your Arts Council membership today. Our membership is working on improvements to our member benefits for both organizations and artists in the coming months.

Thank you for being an important part of our community.
