Joe is a fine artist who enjoys creating engaging compositions with traditional methods in a realistic yet painterly style. He finds painting in oils as the best way to achieve his vision of a subject and believes the medium best captures pleasing effects that viewers connect with both visually and emotionally. Still lifes have been a mainstay of his subject matter for many years. Joe is also happy to share the company of other talented artists as a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists and the Upper St. Clair League for the Arts, and he's honored to have his originals added to private collections across the country after being shown in public group and solo exhibits.
