Sarah Gilmer

Sarah J. Gilmer is a strategist and programmer of arts experiences based in Pittsburgh. She worked as a Program Manager in strategic partnerships and community engagement at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, organizing events such as the Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District, and the BNY Mellon Presents JazzLive series for over four years. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in economics from American University and a certificate in worship music from the Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia. While in Sydney she worked in event production at venues such as the State Theatre and Sydney Super Dome. Starting in February 2022 Sarah will join the newly formed Equity | Impact Center as the Director of Community Engagement, facilitating partnerships that grow capacity building and leadership development programs. Sarah is passionate about fostering spaces of freedom and creativity that lead to liberation for all.
