Downtown Pittsburgh Business Lobby Converted into Art Exhibition through Art on the Walls Program

Pittsburgh—August 26, 2020 – The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council’s Art on the Walls program opened its newest art exhibition this month at Eleven Stanwix, a Downtown Pittsburgh office and retail building.

Managed by M & J Wilkow, LTD, a Chicago-based Real Estate Management company, the Eleven Stanwix Lobby will feature four exhibitions, highlighting new regional artists within each exhibition. Each presentation will be displayed for approximately three months on kiosks and pedestals within the lobby. The inaugural collection features 18 artworks ranging from painting, digital pigment prints, sculpture and mixed media by three artists: Lori Hepner, Kathy Mazur and Robert Nigro. Each piece is available for sale.

By participating in the Art on the Walls program, M & J Wilkow celebrates Pittsburgh’s creative community through the exhibition of artwork honoring the people and places of Pittsburgh for the enjoyment of tenants and visitors to Eleven Stanwix.

“These are trying times for our arts community, but it’s partnerships like this that reaffirm the importance of the arts,” said Mitch Swain, CEO of the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council. “We’re grateful for M & J Wilkow’s commitment to the arts, and hope that you’ll stop by the Eleven Stanwix lobby during your next trip downtown soon to enjoy this beautiful exhibition.”

The public is welcome to visit the new exhibition in the lobby of Eleven Stanwix located at 11 Stanwix Street in Downtown Pittsburgh. The lobby is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and by appointment only on Saturdays and Sundays. Masks are required for all guests and tenants.
