Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council Announces Application Dates for $5,000 Grants to Regional Arts Organizations

The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council has announced the application dates for the Creative Sector Flex Fund (CSFF), a grant program supporting arts organizations in Allegheny, Beaver, Greene, and Washington counties.

This annual program, which awarded $180,000 in grants to 36 regional arts organizations in January 2025, will provide $5,000 grants to arts organizations with average annual revenues between $10,000 - $200,000.

Applications for the Creative Sector Flex Fund will open on September 1, 2025 and close on October 31, 2025.

To help organizations prepare, the Arts Council is hosting a free Info Session on Tuesday, September 16, from noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom. During the session, attendees will learn more about the program, including grant guidelines, program goals, eligibility criteria, and other details.

It offers grantees the flexibility to use the funds in ways that ensure the greatest impact for their organizations and communities. Eligible uses of funds are flexible, including the support of applicants’ administrative, programmatic, and project-related expenses.

Applications in both English and Spanish will be accepted, and grant guidelines in each language can be found by visiting pittsburghartscouncil.org/grants/creative-sector-flex-fund
