Looking for a Pittsburgh stay that feels more like home and located a few short blocks from Downtown Pittsburgh’s arts & culture scene? The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council recently toured some great apartments available for short-term stays tucked just three blocks from the O’Reilly Theater. They’re tailored for artists—and artist-adjacents—passing through the Steel City or looking for a creative getaway.
These cozy apartments, managed by the Pittsburgh Public Theater, offer short-term housing with all your creature comforts, plus a rooftop deck, two gyms, and quick access to everything downtown has to offer. With six thoughtfully outfitted one-bedroom units, each featuring a queen bed, full kitchen, and most with futons for extra guests, they’re perfect for solo travelers, visiting performers, or that artist couple or individual looking for a retreat. One of the apartments could accommodate a family of four.
At a flat rate of $150 per night—or $1,800 for a full month—these apartments are a refreshing alternative to pricey hotels and Airbnb’s cascade of hidden fees. If you're dreaming of a comfortable spot during your stay in the Cultural District, now’s the time to begin your planning.
