The Work Continues: a Message from Mitch Swain, CEO
Dear Arts Colleague,
In response to our recent organizational restructuring, we understand that the community--especially our members, funders, and our partners in equity and accessibility work-- have questions. Our priority continues to be protecting, preserving, promoting, and supporting an equitable, accessible, and resourced arts community. Nothing will dissuade us from this mission, which does not rest with any one staff or board member. In the weeks ahead we will be sharing more details about our ongoing commitments to equity and inclusion in the arts after the Board Equity Policy Committee convenes. We also look forward to continuing the important work of grant funding, accessibility in the arts, legal and business consulting, artist relations, arts advocacy, policy, and research. Our vision is an equitable, innovative, and flourishing arts and culture community that shapes our thriving region, and we look forward to making that happen, with you. If you have concerns or questions, please contact me directly at 412-391-2060 xt 225.
Kind Regards,
Mitch Swain, CEO
