Pittsburgh to host Suzy Delvalle of Creative Capital, NYC
Artist Resource Fair to Host Hundreds of Artists at Grants and Resources Showcase
Pittsburgh - October 2, 2018 - Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, The Heinz Endowments, The Pittsburgh Foundation, and the New Hazlett Theater will host the Artist Resource Fair on Sunday, October 14 from 3 – 6pm at the New Hazlett Theater. Over 200 artists will gather for this annual free information session on grants, programs, residencies, and support for regional artists. Special Guest, Suzy Delvalle, President and Executive Director of Creative Capital (based in New York City), will speak on Creative Capital’s national funding opportunities. Presentations by The Pittsburgh Foundation, The Heinz Endowments, Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, New Sun Rising, Awesome Pittsburgh, the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, the Union Project, ioby, Crew 412, MTAP, and the New Hazlett Theater will additionally focus on fundraising strategies, artist residencies, grants, fiscal sponsorship, technical assistance, and more. The presentations will be followed by a networking reception to meet the region’s funders and program directors. The Artist Resource Fair is free and open to artists of all disciplines.

Susan (Suzy) Delvalle is the President & Executive Director of Creative Capital, an innovative arts foundation that adapts venture capital concepts to support individual artists. Her previous experience as the Executive Director of the Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling developed her expertise in administration, development, and programming. She joined the organization in June 2016.
