Visit the Brew House gallery and take a private tour of local multimedia artist Erin Mallea's studio alongside fellow emerging Pittsburgh artists and arts managers. From 5:30-6:00, wine and light snacks will be provided as guests can explore a juried exhibition organized by the Society of Sculptors, Pittsburgh. At 6:00, we will gather for a special tour and conversation in which Erin Mallea will provide an intimate look at their gallery and workshop.

About Erin Mallea

Erin Mallea is a multidisciplinary artist motivated by an attempt to better understand the spaces she inhabits. She explores the past and present of particular microcosms as metaphors for larger human and environmental conditions. Erin’s work manifests in a range of media including sculpture, photography, video, audio, writing, and participatory projects.

Erin has exhibited internationally, advocated for the ethical memorialization of a historic oak tree, worked with biologists to learn more about rural land-use near her hometown, and recently sent vibrations from a giant fungus throughout the atmosphere. She is currently based in Pittsburgh, PA.
