The Creative Hive is a monthly networking event designed to provide a friendly and casual space for artists, creatives, art educators, culture bearers, and arts administrators to establish and foster professional relationships.
Program highlights include:
- Free and tailored to artists, creatives, art educators, culture bearers, and arts administrators.
- No program, no agenda – just show up with a desire to network and connect.
- Be a part of creating stronger connections and bonds, especially between disciplines and roles, to improve the breadth and strength of our sector.
- Non/alcoholic beverages provided, as well as finger foods, with support from Barrel & Flow

Venue Info: Pittsburgh Center for Arts & Media (PCA&M) cultivates a thriving arts community by bringing people together through education, exhibitions, and experiences. To achieve its mission, PCA&M provides equipment and facilities for individual artists, conducts educational programs, and stimulates public awareness and understanding through demonstrations, artist residencies, and exhibitions.
Accessibility Info: An accessibility ramp is located at our back entrance. Our front doors are the ones that face Shady Avenue. We have multiple floors that can be accessed via our elevator.
Parking Info: There is parking all around our building as this is Mellon Park. Please note that this is a pay lot run by the city and parking before 6 p.m. is metered. Primary entrance is located through our doors that face Shady Avenue. Our location is easily accessible by bus, etc.
