Beaver County Association for the Blind : The BCAB Mission is to provide services to blind and visually impaired persons to promote independence, provide services to prevent blindness and provide employment opportunities to persons who are blind or disabled.

Golden Triangle Council of the Blind: Golden Triangle Council of the Blind's vision is to continue to be recognized as the leading advocacy organization in the greater Pittsburgh area on all issues relative to everyday activities of people who are blind or visually impaired. The aim of all of our efforts is to encourage people to achieve their potential as valued members of society.

Keystone Blind Association: Keystone Blind Association's mission of service is to promote independence for children and adults who are blind or visually impaired, to promote eye health and eye safety, and to promote employment for all persons with disabilities.

Pennsylvania Association of the Blind: With 100 years of experience in helping visually impaired people develop life skills and achieve independence, we bring innovative programs and resources to communities across Pennsylvania. Services span a broad spectrum to meet the varied needs of those with vision impairment: individual training, workshops and seminars, transportation assistance, rehabilitation, employment opportunities, summer instructional programs for children, vision screenings, support groups, counseling, and more. 

Western PA BOLD (Blind Outdoor Leisure Development)

Western PA School for Blind Children: Located in the heart of Oakland, Pennsylvania, the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children is a one-of-a-kind educational facility committed to training visually impaired students with additional disabilities. The School also provides vital early intervention and outreach services to visually impaired students, with or without additional challenges, throughout western Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association: The Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association, founded in 1960, is a professional organization of speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and teachers of the hearing impaired. Click here to visit the local chapter website.

Western PA School for the Deaf: The Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) is a non-profit, tuition-free school for deaf and hard-of hearing children from birth through 12th grade.

Other Organizations:

Autism Center at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC: The Autism Center serves young children who have or are suspected of having an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or related disorders. The center is a component of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC's Child Development Unit. Services available through the Autism Center and the Child Development Unit include: assessments, referrals, resources,  research, training and education.

The Arc-Pennsylvania: The Arc is the largest advocacy organization in the United States for citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families. The Arc of Pennsylvania is the state chapter of The Arc.

Epilepsy Foundation of Western PA: The Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central Pennsylvania (EFWCP) is a private, non-profit service organization providing public education and supportive services to individuals and families affected by epilepsy/seizure disorders. Our mission is to lead the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome challenges created by epilepsy.

Special Kids Network-PA Dept of Health: The mission of the Special Kids Network is to improve access to services, provide comprehensive information for those seeking to identify services, and to foster the improvement or development of local services for children with special health care needs and their families. Children and youth identified with a special health care need are at increased risk for chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, and emotional conditions that require services beyond what is required by children in general.

United Cerebral Palsy (Pittsburgh Affiliate-UCP/CLASS): The mission of UCP/CLASS is to support people with disabilities as they explore options, participate in the community and strive toward equality. We are "working toward a community where each belongs."

Three Rivers Center for Independent Living: a non-residential, non-profit, community-based human service organization, assisting people with disabilities to lead self-directed and productive lives.
