Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs, Seattle, WA
This program has developed exciting ways for artists to be engaged in public art projects including a percent for art program and artist in residency programs. Visit their website to see their public art ordinances, public art program guidelines, walking tours, and examples of commissioned projects.

4Culture, Seattle, WA
This organization has innovative on-line registries for artists who collaborate with architects and landscape architects, artists who design building parts, and artists who are experts in public art planning.

Fairmount Park Art Association, Philadelphia, PA
This is the oldest public art program in the United States. Their website includes information about their projects, including the innovative New-Land-Marks program.

The Sprout Fund, Pittsburgh, PA
The Sprout Fund supports a wide variety of public art projects, including their mural program and Seed Award program.

The Frick Building is a great example of art in the public spaces of Pittsburgh's historic private buildings. Henry Frick's daughter commissioned this bust for the lobby.
