the August 2010 Artist Opportunities Listserv! Below are just a few interesting opportunities:
- Create a PARK in a Parking
Space! PARK(ing) Day is an annual, one-day, international event on September 17,
2010 in which artists, designers, activists and citizens
collaborate to temporarily transform parking spots
into “PARK(ing)” spaces.
Pittsburgh's PARK(ing) Day is growing
and be a part of it!
- GPAC’s Artist Opportunity Grant deadline is
September 1st.
This grant can cover expenses directly related to a unique professional
opportunity.
- Pittsburgh
Filmmakers is now accepting films for its Three
Rivers Film Festival. Submit an application before August 27, 2010.
- Interested
in the City's Open Space, Parks, and Recreation planning
process? OPENSPACEPGH
is on is one of the initial components of PLANPGH,
the City's Comprehensive Plan. OPENSPACEPGH
will help to envision the future of the City's open
space, park, and recreation systems.

vacant land, open space, parks, and
recreation efforts.
