ProArtsTickets is no longer accepting clients as of August 31, 2012
After fourteen years of service to the arts community, the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council (GPAC) is closing its ProArtsTickets program. We want to say a huge thank you to the countless ticket buyers who have purchased tickets through the years, and to the arts organizations whose brilliant shows made the program a success!
Where can I buy tickets now?
All former ProArtsTickets clients have switched over to one of the many available ticket-selling systems now on the market--most of which didn't exist when ProArtsTickets was founded! Check the website of your favorite arts organization to learn how you can purchase tickets. Click the links below for info about the following clients, who provided updated ticketing info to GPAC:
- American Middle East Institute
- Music on the Edge (MOTE)
- Off the Wall Theater
- Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre
- Pittsburgh New Works Festival
- Prime Stage Theatre
- University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Music
Why did the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council close ProArtsTickets?
One of our main goals for ProArtsTickets was to help small and mid-sized arts organizations build audiences, and we're changing the way we do that. This change is part of a shift in strategy away from providing direct box office services, and toward initiatives that will help your favorite organizations grow their audiences through data-sharing and customer relationship management (CRM). Read more about this.
I'm looking for something to do this weekend. What do you recommend?
