Bookkeeper
Kathy Mahoney started at the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council (then ProArts) in 2001 and is the part-time bookkeeper. Kathy is a CPA and graduate from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in accounting. After 2 ½ years as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co., Kathy and her husband, Bob, moved to Houston, TX, where they lived for 4 years. After returning to Pennsylvania, Kathy and Bob started a family and home schooled their 3 children through 8th grade. Kathy is self-employed and does bookkeeping/ accounting work with many non-profits in the Pittsburgh area.
